PHILADELPHIA -- Germantown Academy's crew team continued their 2024 spring season at the Fifth Manny Flick on Sunday, 4月21日. The Patriots had eight entries compete in the regatta, the most they have had all season.

The Patriots had two entries in the Girls Novice 4x to open the day. The first boat of Nina Sager '26, Maggie Salerno '26, Sophia DeCardona '25, and Clara Shafer '26 finished in 6:12.840 to take second overall, while the second boat of Emma Podulka '27, 五月a Salerno '27, Mirabelle Hayes '26, and Alex Brown '27 finished fifth with a time of 6:27.120. The Boys Novice 4x of Ben Moyer '26, 阿琼·萨姆拉，27岁, Gavin Young, 27岁, and Jayden Johnson '26 went 5:53.860 to take fourth in the second flight of their race. They finished seventh overall. 

The Girls JV 2x of Roma Reddy '25 and Sophia Song '27 went 6:39.590 to finish 15th in their race. The Boys JV 2x of Max Rinnander '25 and Matthew Holleman '27 finished 14th in their race, going 5:53.610. Andrew Wells '25, Maloy Lafferty '25, Jack Wescott '25, and Utsav Mittal '25 finished sixth in the Boys JV 4x, 划船13.250. 

Benjamin Moorhouse '26 and AJ DiFranco '24 finished second in their flight of the Boys Ltwt 2x in 6:25.590. The Girls Varsity 4+ of Sam Rofsky '24, Lucy McFadden '24, Charlotte Baughman '25, Gertie Lafferty '24, and coxswain Lucy Fassler '24 went 5:53.900 in their flight. 

Germantown Academy returns to the water on 4月il 28 when they will participate in the Cooper Cup at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken Township, NJ.
